How Muddy is Your Holy Book?

I have noticed that many religions rely on muddy and ambiguous terminology in their holy books to keep people from questioning the doctrines they contain.  By keeping their holy "scriptures" muddy and ambiguous, they make you feel ignorant and unable to fully understand the message that is supposedly hidden within.
I was raised Lutheran, and had Luther's Small Catechism and Luther's Large Catechism to help us better understand the "scriptures" contained within the bible.  The question I have come to ask is "why do I need another book to understand the "holy book" of my own religion?"  The second commandment was the biggest point of my questioning of the teachings of the bible.
"You shall not misuse the name of the lord your god"
It seems that on its surface that it means I should not say "goddamn it" or use god's name profanely, however, my particular flavor of Christianity had this to say
"You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God."
What does this mean? We should fear and love God so that we do not curse, swear, use
satanic arts, lie, or deceive by His name, but call upon it in every trouble, pray, praise, and
give thanks.
Why am I forbidden to curse?  The commandment doesn't say anything about "Thou shall not say fuck, shit, piss?"  Yet by the constraints of the religion I was brought up believing, I am forbidden from doing so.  Technically, I should be able to use the name of Satan in using Satanic arts within the confines of this commandment as long as I do not profane the name of god.
I have seen many Satanic groups that use latin or muddly language to present their theology and ideals on life and spirituality.  When we have to "read between the lines" we will find those lines filled with personal agendas(see joy of Satan).
I would not expect Satan to speak to me cryptically or in any way that will make me confused about the message that he is trying to confer to me.  Why would He waste his time speaking to me if there is a chance that his message will fall on deaf or ignorant ears?
One needs to think when reading or taking in information, "Is this easy to understand?" if it's not then ask "Why are they speaking in uncertain terms?"
In the end it's up to you to feel what is right for you and what feels right within your being, and not what anyone says to you.  Take every bit of knowledge with a grain of salt unless it feels right on a deeper level within yourself.
"You know I am your God because you feel I am your God."  -  Spoken to me by Satan
